Book Study Group
CURRENTLY READING
The Autobiography of a Yogi
(Winter/Spring/Summer 2024)
We have been enjoying a book study group since January 2021. The camaraderie, connection, wisdom, and authentic self-expression that we have shared, as well as the inspiration and learning we enjoyed through the pages of our books, was and continues to be AMAZING!

If you are wondering about the “more” of yoga, and are interested in growing, learning and connecting with others in a deeply meaningful way: join us! Participating in a group of like-minded individuals, to explore books that are more than meets the eye, is so special and such fun. We broaden our understandings of the books and ourselves and are often inspired to apply our new understandings to our lives, in ways that we could not have imagined.
All sessions on Zoom, moderated by Julianne Rice. Our groups meet every other Monday 8 - 9pm (PDT). We read at a pace allowing depth of contemplation and discussion.

“When you take care of a tree in its growth, in due time it blossoms into flowers and then gives its natural culmination which is the fruit. Likewise the practice of yoga has to culminate sooner or later in the spiritual fragrance of freedom and beatitude. As the essence of the tree is contained in the fruit, so too the essence of your practice is contained in its fruit of freedom, poise, peace and beatitude.””
